Never heard of it. I always used Rotella T6 in my Foz XT and it loved it.

I don't ever read reviews on oil, additives, nothing, because everything is in your head.

When it comes to oil, get what good mechanics recommend. And ALWAYS get oil that meets the specification of your car. German cars are very particular about this, which is why they're very specific, whereas most American and Japanese cars just have you meet a blanket spec (API something).

And when it comes to manufacturer claims, I only listen if they have studies to back it up, like Liqui-Moly does with their oils and additives.

And one last thing, all those claims that say you can go X amount of miles; ignore them. Always go the amount of miles it says in your owners manual.

I went with what I read a lot of Subaru shops use. Doesn't seem drastically different to what it had before (Valvoline I think). I should probably stick the rest in our Saab, poor things been run on a shoestring for a while now...

The XT is more particular isn't it? I just have the regular 2L NA X AWP Foz - slow but so much fun :)

If a lot of reputable shops use it, and it meets the specification, then it won't hurt it. The key is always to meet the manufacturers specification.

Yes it is. Rotella T6 is pretty cheap for a full synthetic though. Usually around $8/qt

Paid about £6 for a litre. Only had this Foz about 6-7 weeks. I'm finding fuel economy is better than I'd expected. Kinda wishing I'd gone for an XT now!

What year is it? I had a 2013 XT and it's fuel economy sucks. I was lucky to get 21 us-mpg.

Its a 2004 (2nd gen) - I'm not keen on the look of later models.

The older ones look much better.

I've come around to the first gen, 2nd I think actually looks good front and rear, and I've made my peace with the profile view, but the new ones....they're not ugly but they could be anything. The early ones had their own thing going on.
